Testimonials from Teachers and Students

Professor Chen, Jie-En

Director of Cybersecurity Program

As digital technology has fully penetrated all areas of life, the importance of data and networks is becoming increasingly prominent. From the rise of ChatGPT to the widespread application of artificial intelligence, technology is profoundly changing our society. However, network security issues are also becoming increasingly serious. Network security is not only a technical requirement, but also a moral responsibility.

Combined with the current global demand for cybersecurity engineers, this major has broad career development prospects. The educational philosophy of Kepha Institute is based on truth, emphasizing the fair use of technology and ethical norms. This program is committed to cultivating students’ depth in technology and scientific knowledge, while emphasizing truth as the criterion, and cultivating students’ character of being just and serving others. We focus on the training of practical operation ability and problem-solving skills, and hope that students can flexibly apply what they have learned to their work after graduation, and truly achieve the goal of applying what they have learned.

We are willing to fully support every student, not only focusing on students’ technical growth, but also focusing on their character shaping and life transformation. I sincerely encourage all students who aspire to become network engineers to come among us and grow with us in truth, and use technology to create a better future.

Damon Wang

Kepha Institute Master of Cybersecurity, Spring 2024 Student

In recent years, the economic situation has been poor, industry demand has shrunk, and job supply has been tight. In the face of difficulties, “one specialization with multiple skills” has become the key. The depth of emerging technologies and the breadth of traditional technologies are indispensable. I believe that opportunities favor those who are prepared, humble, diligent and lifelong learners.

The Kepha Cybersecurity Master’s program focuses on cultivating students’ professional knowledge and holistic literacy, not only improving professional depth, but also shaping students from confidence, character, critical thinking and other aspects, so that they have the comprehensive ability to cope with an uncertain era.

The professors are known for their solid theory and superb practical skills, especially in practical fields such as offensive and defensive combat, and are by no means just talking on paper. As an institution that combines truth and professional depth, professors are committed to helping students achieve professional improvement and life transformation, re-anchor the direction of life in an extremely uncertain era, and explore the meaning of career and life in professional services.
